| This Chair, who is normally an insurance professional, will set up a policy to protect the host community and BC Seniors Games inventory, from fire, theft and other damage. This volunteer will represent the local Board of Directors on all insurance related matters. | This area is to arrange for registration of, and provide hospitality to, all Games In-Town and Out-of-Town Guests. | This area is to recruit, coordinate and schedule the activities of a pre-determined number of men and women in your community to serve as Hosts to the BC Seniors Games.
There are three types of Hosts to consider. Firstly, there is the Guest Host whose primary responsibility will be to escort BC Seniors Games Guests to a variety of Games functions.
Secondly, Sport Hosts will take an active role at pre-selected Sport venues during the Games, serving as information sources (about the Games and the community) to Games participants and the general public, and to assist in the distribution of box lunches on the Thursday and Friday of the Games.
Thirdly, Hospitality Hosts may be utilized prior to the Games by assisting at assorted socials and receptions. During the Games, they will be involved in registering the Games Guests upon their arrival at the Games and in staffing the Guest Hospitality Suite. |

| The purpose of this area is to establish two separate Courtesy Car systems. System A: To provide new cars to the Guests Hosts (Protocol) to drive selected BC Seniors Games Guests to assorted Games Events and social functions. If new cars are not available, Hosts will be asked to provide their own cars. System B: To recruit, schedule and train volunteers as Courtesy Car drivers for the duration of the Games. You will require approximately 50 volunteers in total to meet your needs. Structure and operate a Courtesy Car Dispatch Centre of volunteers scheduled to drive new cars and their personal vehicles during the Games.
